Here at Silver Lining Residential, our admissions department determines if the needs of the child can be met at one of our facility. The acceptance of an applicant is based on an assessment by the multi-disciplinary team. Placement decisions are made following an assessment of the child's psychological evaluation, social history, medical history, and any other relevant information. We accept children who are between the ages of 6 and 14.
We accept kids who have the MODERATE and SPECIALIZED Level of Care (LOC) and who exhibits any of the following characteristics:
ADHD/ADD, Anxiety Disorder, Assaultive Behaviors, Danger to self and others
Depression, Impulse Control, Learning Disorder
Mal-adaptive Behaviors, Opposition Defiant Disorder
Pervasive Development, Physically Abused/Neglected,
Sexual Abuse History, Sexualized Behaviors
Verbally Aggressive, Bullies, Physically Aggressive.
